Candle Care
There are a few things that can help to optimize how your candle burns, and also the safety and life span of your candle.
Soy Wax
- Trim wick to 1/4 inch before every burn. No shorter or your wick will drown in the wax and won’t burn properly.
- Allow candle to burn long enough for a full melt pool on top. Approx. 3-4 hours. This prevents tunneling and prolongs the life of your candle.
- Don’t burn candle longer then 4 hours. You don’t want your jar getting to hot!
- Quit using candle when there is 1/4 inch of wax left. This prevents the wick from moving around in the jar.
- Place on a heat resistant, level surface and keep out of reach of pets and children.
Beeswax
- Trim wick to 1/4 inch before every burn.
- Do not leave candles unattended.
- Place candles on level, heat resistant surface.
- Place pillars and free standing candles in dish or tray to catch any dripping that may occur.
- Quit burning candle when 1/2" of wax is left.
- Keep out of reach of pets and children.
